How it works
- Book: choose one, two or three nights and whether you want an expert session.
- Pick up the telescope from our office in Karachi. We show you how to set it up and use it.
- Observe from your home, rooftop or a trip out of the city.
- Return it, packed as you received it, to the same office when the rental ends.
Optional expert session
An astronomy expert from Pakistan Science Club can join you for a personal session: setting up, finding objects and explaining what you are seeing. The session takes place at a location agreed in advance, or online.
Fees
Fees depend on the telescope, the number of nights and whether an expert session is included. We confirm the exact amount when you book.
Rental terms
- Eligibility: you must be at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's consent. A valid CNIC or other government ID is needed at pick-up.
- Use: telescopes and expert sessions are for personal, non-commercial use.
- Payment: the full rental and expert-session fee is paid when the booking is confirmed; confirmed bookings are not refundable.
- Care: handle the telescope carefully. Damage, loss or theft during the rental is the renter's responsibility and may be charged.
- Weather: we cannot control clouds, haze or visibility during your rental or session.
- Expert sessions: please provide a safe and respectful environment for our expert.
