Choose your experience

Four ways to see the sky with us. Each one has its own page with the full details and terms.

How booking works

  1. 1

    Send a request

Choose the experience, a few possible dates, the place and the number of people. It takes two minutes.

  2. 2

    We confirm on WhatsApp

We check the Moon, the planets and the weather, then confirm the date, the plan and the fee. Nothing is paid before this.

  3. 3

    Look up

We bring the telescopes and a guide - or hand you a rental telescope and show you how to use it.

Clouds happen. If the sky is covered on the night of an astronomy night or private session, we agree a new date.

From our astronomy nights

Dream World Resort, Karachi

· with Dream World Resort

More than 100 families came for an evening that began with a telescope-making workshop led by Abdul Rauf. Children and parents built small telescopes together, then moved to the lawn, where Abdul Rauf, Talha Moon Zia and the Pakistan Science Club team guided everyone at the telescopes.

Through the eyepieces: the Moon, and Jupiter with its moons lined up beside it.

  • A teenager holds up the small red telescope he has just built while an instructor explains the lenses.

What you will actually see

Straight answers, before you book. From a Karachi rooftop, through our telescopes:

  • The Moon: craters, mountains and long shadows along the terminator - sharp and bright, even in the city.
  • Jupiter: a small disc with its cloud belts and four bright moons lined up beside it.
  • Saturn: its rings clearly separate from the planet - the moment most people remember.
  • Star clusters and nebulae: the Pleiades and the Orion Nebula; nebulae and galaxies look like soft grey glows, not the colour photos online.

What is up depends on the date - the planets move through the year. We plan each night around what the sky offers.

Questions people ask

Do I need my own telescope?

No. At astronomy nights, workshops and private sessions we bring the telescopes. If you want one at home for a few nights, you can rent one in Karachi.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the experience, the number of people, the place and, for a rental, the telescope and the number of nights. Send a request and we confirm the fee before anything is paid.

What happens if it is cloudy?

Nobody can control the weather. For astronomy nights and private sessions we agree a new date if clouds cover the sky. For rentals, the sky during your nights is outside our control.

What will we actually see?

Even from a city: the Moon's craters in sharp detail, Jupiter's four brightest moons, Saturn's rings and bright star clusters. Galaxies and nebulae appear as faint grey glows, not as colourful photographs - darker skies outside the city show more.

Can children take part?

Yes. Astronomy nights and private sessions are family events. In telescope-making workshops, children build with a parent working alongside them. Renting a telescope needs someone aged 18 or over, or a guardian's consent.

Do you come outside Karachi?

Rentals are picked up and returned in Karachi. For astronomy nights, private sessions and workshops elsewhere, or online workshops, send a request with the place and we will tell you what is possible.

Tell us what you have in mind

A family night, a rental for a trip, a workshop for your group. Send a request and we reply with a plan - nothing is charged until you confirm.
