One astronomy night sparks interest; a club keeps it going.
Through the PSC Astronomy Club
Pakistan Science Club's Astronomy Club supports local chapters. A teacher or senior student can lead a chapter at your school and receive:
- Chapter leader training to run activities confidently.
- Monthly missions - for example observing and photographing lunar features, finding constellations, or measuring sky brightness to help map light pollution.
- Resources and official recognition from Pakistan Science Club, and a community to share observations with.
Joining the Astronomy Club happens on paksc.org.
Equipment
Many missions need only eyes, a phone and a sky chart. A club telescope opens up the Moon and planets - see telescopes for schools.
Getting started
Tell us about your school and who would lead the club, and we help you set it up.
